A detente is a traditional Peruvian heart charm, hand embroidered and once given as a symbol of peace or affection between loved ones. This large version wraps that history around a sacred image with a satin ribbon for hanging, so it's ready to bring a little blessing to your wall, rearview mirror, or bag.
Each one has an image of the Virgin Mary on one side and the image of a Saint on the other; image of Saint will vary.
