Over the past 9 years, Artelexia has seen a great growth of people who believe
in its mission of sharing the vibrant culture of Mexico with the world.

From its initial stalls at the La Jolla Farmers Market, to its first brick-n-mortar retail space in Little Italy, and now with two locations in culturally artistic North Park, Artelexia has thrived to what it is today:

    • A vibrant retail shop and event space with a growing online and social media presence
    • Specializing in Mexican gifts, art, home décor, and gourmet foods
    • Hosting cultural workshops and community events, including the First-ever Day of the Dead Festival in North Park
    • Fundraising via Hola Bitches—Modern-day Fairy Godmothers—for an array of non-profits

While the colorful gift shops of the Southwestern roads sparked the idea for Artelexia,
it is because of you that, through this space, we want to continue to develop these ideas
diy's and craft how-to's, recipe demos and cocktail inspirations, travel tips and shop recommendations
and bring them all to whatever part of the world you may be in.

    ¿Quieres Viajar?

We live for travel and inspiration!

With our sister company, Eat.Drink.Cook.Mexico, we guide travel tours to our favorite parts of Mexico—Oaxaca and San Miguel de Allende—where we shop for new and unique products and gift items to bring back to our shop for you.

That we are familiar with many artisans, vendors, chefs/cooks in these various regions of Mexico, only makes sharing our love of Mexico with you that much easier.
