It's a new month and we're happy to continue sharing great artists that brighten your day. For the month of May, we have Elisa Chavarri, an illustrator originally from Lima, Peru taking inspiration from her latin culture. She is sharing her La Sirena art with us this month, and you can make it yours with each purchase from our site.**
Though originally from Peru, Elisa grew up primarily in Northern Michigan. She often draws from her Peruvian roots and latin culture for inspiration and focuses her work on adding more happiness, beauty, and inclusivity to the world.
This May and June Elisa is very excited to have two Latin American themed children’s books coming out. Federico and the Wolf, by Rebecca J. Gomez, and a bilingual book, Sharuko: El Arqueólogo Peruano Julio C. Tello/Peruvian Archaeologist Julio C. Tello, by Monica Brown.
Elisa lives in Alpena, Michigan with her husband and two wild and beautiful kids.
Visit Elisa's Website and IG feed for all the cute colorful art and more information on her upcoming books.
